Agnieszka has been influential on the Warsaw culinary scene since 1989 alongside her brother and business partner, Marcin.
It all started with Mekong, an Asian restaurant at which iconic spring-rolls and honey glazed ribs were prepared by chefs who still work at the company. From there, Agnieszka went on to establish many successful ethnic restaurants including Chianti, El Popo, Meltemi and Santorini, before giving Polish cuisine a new dimension at Kubicki Arcades and Opasly Tom.
In 2014 Agnieszka hosted a dinner for world leaders which was named as one of Poland's most important culinary events of the 21st century, and in her quest for promoting sustainable agriculture, she created a weekly good food market at Forteca. Alongside her restaurants Agnieszka is also a columnist and author of books including In the kitchen at Kregliccy, Parties at Kregliccy and Ready to Cook.
