Didem studied Psychology at KocUniversity, Istanbul, than went to NYC to Study culinary Arts at ‘French Culinary Institute’. She worked at Eleven Madison Park in NYC before returning to Istanbul where she worked in high end restaurants then went to the south of Turkeyto Dionysos Hotel, where she worked as the chef for 5 years. She opened her own restaurant Lokanta Maya in 2010 and Gram 2012. She also has an online business called ‘Gramevde’ in which she inspires people to cook good food at home. Gram also has a catering and an event business where the custom curate bespoke events. Didem believes that none of these things would be possible without the value of a great team.
