Mehmet Yalçın is the first wine and spirits writer in Turkey, he started writing about drinks in 1989. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of Gurme and Gusto magazines.  Yalçın is the author of three books on drinks: A’to Z Wine, A to Z Whisky and A to Z Beer. Yalçın is also a weekly columnist in www.t24.com.tr  an independent internet newspaper.
