Founder of Ayerya Tasting Center

Pelin studied agriculture at Aegean University and UCDavis. She and her family founded  Ayerya Rüzgarlı Vadi Farm and established an olive grove in Yağcılar in, 1998. Turla, the family company has built their own artisan olive oil mill in Kuşçular, Urla- Izmir 2013 and Olivurla is a brand with many international award winning organic olive oil and olives from Ayerya. Ms Omuroğlu is a member of Izmir Commodity Exchanges professional olive oil taster and panellist and a member of İzmir Skall Tourism Club.

She is one of the founder of the International Urla Artichoke Festival and one of the pioneers in oleo tourism and agritourism of Urla Peninsula.

She always welcomes guests at the family farm where she organizes tasting and organic farming workshops for schools and gastronomy universities.
